[metrics-dev] New record for GridFTP

Btw, the "X packets received and successfully logged" in the usage stats
report actually indicates how many packets were processed and inserted into
a database. This does not actually indicate how many packets were received
but not yet processed. In fact, at the time when the yesterday report was
sent there was still 3 million unprocessed packets in the queue. So the
number reported in the usage stats report and the actual number of packets
received within a day, might be different (i.e. greater) for the last few
days.
