In addition, all packages are setup

[root at server grid-security]#
/usr/local/globus-4.0.3/sbin/gpt-postinstall

All of the packages in your GLOBUS_LOCATION are already set up.

And /usr/local/globus-4.0.3/sbin/globus-gridftp-server exists

Thanks,

Shaun

Subject: GridFTP location

Dear All,

Is there any reason why a /etc/xinetd.d/gridftp file wouldn't exist
automatically on a default GT 4 install?

I've been through the quickstart in
http://www.globus.org/toolkit/docs/4.0/admin/docbook/quickstart.html and
section 1.2.4
<http://www.globus.org/toolkit/docs/4.0/admin/docbook/quickstart.html%20
and%20section%201.2.4> Set Up GridFTP says that inside xinetd.d will be
a gridftp file, this doesn't exist.

In addition, a grid-mapfile file didn't exist in /etc/grid-security but
I've created this automatically.

Does anyone have any thoughts?

Shaun
