Hi!
I'm new to gridway and I'm trying to setup gridway and integrate a
gridway client into my application. For that I installed globus and
gridway and setup a MDS4 IM. But I stumbled over two problems. I solved
the first one by myself but the solution is not satisfying me at all.
The second one is really annoying.
Everything works fine except no free cpus/nodes are shown at the gwhost
list. Submitting with globusrun-ws works. Also globus-url-copy works. So
I believe globus is properly installed. To solve the problem I tried to
modify the output of
$GLOBUS_LOCATION/libexec/globus-scheduler-provider-fork. Never mind what
parameters I added or changed no free CPU/node was shown at the gwhost
list and every job I submitted was pending... At last I used a static IM
and solved it. This is not a real problem, because I only need the
globus with FORK for testing. Later on I will use PBS or SGE as local
scheduler. But never the less can anonyone explain to me why this
problem occurs?
My second problem is related to the JAVA DRMAA API. I tried to write a
simple gridway client, following the instructions in the tutorial.
But when I try to run it, I get the following error:
Session Init success
Using DRMAA for GridWay 5.2.2, details:

at org.ggf.drmaa.SessionImpl.runJob(SessionImpl.java:109)

And if I split the implementation into several methods:

Aborted
Gridway is running and the shared library path is updated.
Any ideas?
Thanks in advance.
Cheers,
Kay
