ok, no support for SAML2 now and in the near future,

but what about backwards compatibility of Shibboleth2? Have you tested 
GridShibCA with the SAML1 profiles of the IDP 2.0? I thought it should 
work because of backwards compatibility and this part of my question 
originally was meant as "have you heard about anyone having problems 
with GS-CA and IDP 2.0 SAML1 assertions?".
