[gram-user] Fwd: globus-gatekeeper.log not getting created

Hi,

After installing globus when a job is submitted in the 1st machine itself :
$ globus-job-run compute-1-30 /bin/date
the following error occurs :

GRAM Job submission failed because the connection to the server failed
(check host and port) (error code 12)

The globus-gatekeeper.log file is not getting created.

By checking some archives I found out telnet could point at what the problem
is. Hence did the following :

$ telnet compute-1-30 2119

it gives the following error:

Trying 172.20.1.110...
Connected to compute-1-30.local (172.20.1.110).
Escape character is '^]'.
globus-gatekeeper: error while loading shared libraries: libssl.so.0.9.8:
cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory
Connection closed by foreign host.

I wanted to know how this could be fixed. Thank you.
